A native of Toronto, Canada, Fr Gavin Dunbar is a graduate in Classics from Trinity College, University of Toronto. After graduate school in Classics at Dalhousie University, Halifax, he received a Master’s degree in Divinity from Wycliffe College, University of Toronto. He currently serves as the rector of St John’s Church in Savannah, Georgia, one of the largest parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia.
He is a founder of Ralston College and the Former Chairman of the Board of Governors. As a local religious leader, well-rooted in the Savannah community, he has an interest in fostering the establishment of this educational enterprise in this city, and has played a significant role in its development.
Fr Dunbar has been a member of the Board of Governors since 2010.
